Heartsong Animal Rescue Welcome

Heartsong Animal Rescue, although not known by that name then, began in 1976 with the rescue of Sunny. Sunny was a black-mane African lioness who was living in a small cage with several other large cats of different varieties. At that time Sunny suffered from malnutrition and rickets and was in need of medical attention. We rescued her and brought her back to health. She lived out her days in our care. Heartsong's animals are somewhat smaller now, but our goal is the same, to help the helpless find a better life!
